Acceptable use
Private, not lawless.
We can't know who's asking, by design. So rules apply to requests, never to people, and enforcing them never weakens anyone's anonymity.
Always refused
- Sexual content involving minors, in any form.
- Meaningful help making biological, chemical, nuclear or radiological weapons.
- Working malware or exploits against systems you don't own.
- Targeting real private people: doxxing, stalking, threats, or planning violence.
General discussion, fiction, news, history, education and defensive security are fine.
How it's enforced
- A safety check runs on every request and every reply, next to the model. Content never goes to a third party for this.
- A refused request is still charged, so probing the filter costs money.
- Replies are checked before they reach you, including streamed ones.
- We keep only counts of refusals per category, never the content.
What we can't do
We can't ban a person, because we never know who anyone is. The only penalty that applies to a person is for spending the same question twice: that reveals the cheater's secret and cancels their remaining questions.
